In this role you will be responsible forall aspects of internal communications essential to the organization operations.The senior manager will report to the Director, Communications Business Partners and will support President of the North Atlantic Consumer Goods Business Unit. Job Summary: The Senior Internal Communications Manager oversees the development and implementation of communications plans that build awareness and support for internal client's objectives (business plans, initiatives, etc.). The Senior Manager implements policies and programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of activities affecting employees in the North Atlantic Consumer Goods business unit. Work includes all aspects of communications, including executive communications support, consulting and planning, key message development, development of communications materials, coordination of resources and measurement of results. Responsibilities: Plan, direct and implement internal communications programs to ensure specific messages are delivered to internal audiences Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of internal communications programs, using established metrics Manage the development, production and distribution of key company newsletters, publications and other communiqués relating to Human Resources subject Provide writing, editing and creative support for various communications projects, including editorials, articles, news stories, case studies, brochures, microsites, and blogs Provide performance management and career development for subordinates
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or other four-year college degree Minimum of seven years Internal Communications experience, including communications planning/consulting Minimum of five years executive communications planning & execution Minimum of three years project management experience
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations English or Marketing Ten or more years in corporate, internal communications MBA Minimum of 15 years Internal Communications experience Minimum of ten years managing other professionals Minimum of ten years writing and/or editing human resources communications Minimum of seven years global internal communications responsibility
