Title: Technical Training Support Clerk (Backfill)
Description: Provide centralized customer service functions with respect to technical training administrative activities and is directly accountable for schedule and registration of technical training programs, issuance and retrieval of ITS keys, maintenance of technical training databases, spreadsheets and other administrative tools in addition to execution and implementation of applicable processes, procedures and guidelines. Communicate directly via verbal and written communications with all training clients which includes associates, Member-customers, and contractors. Provide administrative support to technical training management and staff and receives close supervision on new aspects of assignments. This position is located at the Electric Cooperative Training Center in Smarr , Ga.
Education: Associates Degree
Experience: Two (2) years experience in administrative support or customer service position.
Equivalent Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent with at least six (6) years of experience in a customer service and administrative/clerical support position. Experience in a training or utility environment is preferred.
Special Skills/Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. Good organization skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Provide excellent customer service responding to client needs in person, by phone, email, or mail.
